Protekt Sunscreen is the perfect water/sweat proof barrier to protect you from all the harsh conditions you will face outdoors. From UV rays, to wind burn, to dry climates, our moisturizing formula will keep you covered with a physical barrier of organic zinc oxide. To maximize its effectiveness and your outdoor time we recommend rubbing our products onto your skin in a circular motion as you would a normal lotion.  If you wish to make the product more visible on your skin, you can then finish with a second visible layer.  *Note: the layer of Protekt does not need to be thick – just rubbed on and spread evenly to the areas you want to protect. Zinc is a physical barrier, so even a light coat will go a long way!  We recommend following FDA guidelines and reapplying every 80 minutes for maximum protection.

Yes – Protekt will NOT migrate or run into your eyes. Protekt also has NO chemical blockers or preservatives which can irritate eyes. Protekt can be applied underneath the eyes and on top of your eyelids – just be careful not to rub Protekt directly into the eyes.

As with any tinted product, you may find that some of your Protekt tinted sunscreen has transferred onto your clothes, rashguard, or swimsuit.  But FEAR NOT!  Unlike most brands, we specifically formulated our naturally tinted formula to come out in the wash without any special stain treatments.

Protekt Suncare uses Zinc Oxide as our only active ingredient.  The rest of the formula is made from organic ingredients and free from all the harmful stuff. Zinc oxide is non-irritating, non-allergenic and non-comedogenic.  We are safe for all skin types and children! We recommend to always do a test patch on your skin prior to your first application - if you have any reaction, discontinue use immediately.

Our sunscreens all have a shelf life of 3 years. To get an idea of when the product was made, check out the bottom, it will either have an expiration date or a lot number. If it has a lot number, the first two digits represent the year the product was filled.
